Sameer Shamsi
Managing Director
Sameer Shamsi is a Managing Director in the Private Capital Advisory Group at Lazard and focuses on Secondary Advisory transactions.
Prior to joining Lazard, Sameer was a Managing Director and Co-Head of GP-Led Secondary Advisory at Houlihan Lokey. Sameer established the Secondary Advisory business at Houlihan in 2021. Previously, Sameer had worked on the dedicated secondary advisory teams at Credit Suisse, Evercore, and UBS Securities and started his career as a management consultant in 1999.
Sameer holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University.
