Jan Martin Niemöller joined Lazard in 2025 as a Director, covering clients across the DACH region out of the firm’s Munich office. He has 10+ years experience advising clients across sell-side/buy-side engagements as well as strategic advisory assignments.
Jan Martin started his professional career in the Corporate Finance division of Deutsche Bank with a focus on both M&A and ECM advisory. Prior to joining Lazard, he worked for five years at Perella Weinberg Partners.
During his career, Jan Martin worked on numerous complex and strategic M&A and ECM-related transactions. He has special sector knowledge in the Industrials, Capital Goods, Automotive and MedTech industries.
Jan Martin studied Business Administration at the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and the University of Toronto.

The well-known team has a strong client-centric approach, and since its launch, the German Asset Management business has helped drive other successful Continental European office launches, further expanding Lazard's European presence.
