Gennadiy Ryskin joined Lazard in 2019 and is currently a Director in the Global Power, Energy, and Infrastructure Group.

Since joining Lazard, Gennadiy has advised private and public sector clients on M&A, capital raising, restructuring, and other strategic advisory assignments. Representative advisory assignments include advising Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation on its strategic alternatives process and sale of International-Matex Tank Terminals to Riverstone, Peerless Oil & Chemicals on its sale to Sunoco LP, USD Partners on its strategic alternatives process and sale of renewable fuel and crude terminals, Kinder Morgan on its Chapter 11 restructuring of Ruby Pipeline, Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company on it second-lien financing, Dynamic Renewables on a strategic investment from Ares Management, Braya Renewable Fuels on a preferred equity investment from Energy Capital Partners, Montana Renewables on a preferred equity investment from Warburg Pincus, LoCI Controls on its Series C funding round led by NextEra Energy Partners, debt holders of Edison Chouest Offshore on its Chapter 11 restructuring, and Weatherford International on its Chapter 11 restructuring. ​​

Prior to joining Lazard, Gennadiy was a Vice President at GE Energy Financial Services where he was responsible for underwriting principal investments and managing portfolio companies. Representative transactions included the sale of portfolio assets and minority interests to Apollo Global Management, investment in Superior Pipeline Company, co-investment in Discovery Midstream with TPG Group, investment in Crestwood Jackalope with Global Infrastructure Partners and TPG Group, sale of interest in Energia Mayakan Natural Gas Pipeline to Mexico Infrastructure Partners, expansion and refinancing of the Los Guindos Power Plant, and portfolio management of equity interest in Harvest Midstream, Southern Star, Summit Midstream, and Southcross Energy.

Prior to business school, Gennadiy worked at Rocaton Investment Advisors, which was acquired by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he advised institutional clients with over $600 billion in assets.​​


Gennadiy resides in Houston with his wife, Valerie, and their daughter, Evie.
