Ekaterina “Katja” Ksoll is a Managing Director at Lazard and Head of Debt Advisory for Germany, Austria & Switzerland (DACH).
Prior to joining Lazard, Katja was a Managing Director, European Co-Head Leveraged Finance and Co-Head of Debt Advisory DACH at Rothschild & Co. in Frankfurt. She has over 20 years of industry experience.
Katja has extensive experience in complex public and private financing assignments across the spectrum of Leveraged Finance, Infrastructure, Corporate Lendíng as well as State Aid. During her career she advised numerous clients in different sectors including European and multi-national corporates, private equity and infrastructure investors and their portfolio companies. Moreover, Katja has experience in M&A (healthcare) and restructuring.
Prior to joining Rothschild & Co. in 2005, Katja was with Leonardo & Co. (today Houlihan Lokey). She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Leipzig Graduate School of Management, Escuela de Administración de Empresas (E.A.E.), Spain and a Bachelor's in Finance from St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance, Russia.

Lazard Asset Management (Deutschland) GmbH was founded in 1999 with offices in Frankfurt and Hamburg. The well-known team has a strong client-centric approach, and since its launch, the German Asset Management business has helped drive other successful Continental European office launches, further expanding Lazard's European presence.
