Edward Rubin
Managing Director


Edward Rubin is a Managing Director and member of the Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment group at Lazard. Mr. Rubin is responsible for originating and leading the execution of advisory transactions for fiber optic, landline communications, data center and mobile infrastructure companies. His experience spans both publicly traded and privately held companies and he has advised on more than $60 billion in transactions during his 25 years on Wall Street.
Prior to joining Lazard in 2022, Mr. Rubin was a Managing Director of Cowen and Company, where he led investment banking efforts across the Communications Infrastructure industry. Prior to joining Cowen in 2008, Mr. Rubin’s investment banking career included M&A positions at Deutsche Bank, UBS (formerly Warburg Dillon Read) and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.
Mr. Rubin began his career at KPMG focusing on tax consulting. Mr. Rubin holds a BA, cum laude, in business with a concentration in finance and accounting from Boston University.
