Dan joined Lazard in 2018 as a member of the Global Power, Energy & Infrastructure team and is a Director.

Since joining Lazard, Dan has advised a number of global power, energy and infrastructure clients, with an emphasis on the electric and gas utilities sector.

Dan’s areas of activity include mergers & acquisitions, long-term client advisory work, capital structure advice, capital-raising, shareholder activism defense and restructurings.

Prior to joining Lazard, Dan was an Associate at BMO Capital Markets (2016 – 2018) where he focused on transaction execution in a generalist M&A role. Dan stared his career in 2011 as a consultant at The Brattle Group where he developed business risk assessments, market forecasts, and rate design analyses on behalf of North American utilities to support regulatory engagement.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Science of Earth Systems (major) and Applied Economics and Management (minor) from Cornell University, a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and Master of Science in Earth and Environmental Engineering from Columbia School of Engineering and Applied Science.
