Alexander Jutkowitz
Senior Advisor

Alexander Jutkowitz is an advisor, investor, and board director for private equity, growth, and venture investments in media, marketing, information services, and B2B omnichannel media. He currently sits on the boards of seven private equity-backed agencies and companies and has deployed capital into twenty-plus early-stage platforms as a means of seeing what’s next.
At every stage of his career, Jutkowitz has searched for new ways to drive growth, whether by anticipating demographic and cultural changes such as the shifting “general market” or finding ways for seemingly disparate companies to fortify their competitive advantage by combining capabilities.
The theses that drive his work have arisen from his experiences first as a pollster and international political consultant, then as a corporate strategy advisor focusing on content marketing and brand, and now as an investor with big bets on the future of IP ownership and production, for both media and marketing firms as well as the future of events and convening in a world of hybrid work.
Throughout the period of profound change in media over the last two decades, Jutkowitz has pursued a unified, comprehensive approach to stakeholder management, which combines behavioral, attitudinal, and hard-to-reach audience data sets to inform elite-level consulting services. Armed with a set of digital tools, Jutkowitz is able to track and truly be predictive of threats and opportunities pertaining to corporate reputation.
Jutkowitz has also helped create firms with unprecedented combined offerings in high-level convening, content creation, and distribution for an executive audience.
Today, Jutkowitz sees opportunities for firms that use proprietary data and artificial intelligence to reach their consumers through a belief in fully encompassing brand and demand solutions.
Having split his childhood between Latin America and the United States, Jutkowitz has a unique cultural perspective that has informed his career. He was raised in Chile, then Philly, is fluent in Spanish, and has been an advocate for more diverse cultural perspectives in his industry and beyond.
Jutkowitz has taught at the University of Southern California Annenberg School of Communications and Journalism. His book, “The Strategic Storyteller,” was published by Wiley in 2017.
