On February 1st, in an interview with La Tribune Dimanche, Jean-Louis Girodolle, CEO of Lazard in France and Co-Head of European Investment Banking, shared his perspective on the state of the dealmaking environment and explored challenges and opportunities for businesses in a reshuffled world order.

He highlighted how essential it is for Europe's major states to build some form of political union and economic convergence. It is only by doing so that they will create the conditions for European companies to innovate, grow, and remain competitive at the global level, he said.
