Omid Ahdieh
Managing Director
Omid Ahdieh is a Managing Director and senior member of the Healthcare Group at Lazard, with over 30 years of experience in healthcare investment banking. He is a leading advisor in the sector, having executed more than $250 billion in transactions across the healthcare ecosystem. Omid specializes in strategic M&A and financing transactions, with deep expertise in healthcare services, particularly pharmaceutical services, pharma tech, and laboratories and clinical diagnostics. He has served as a trusted advisor to boards of directors, management teams, and financial sponsors on complex and transformative transactions.
Prior to joining Lazard in 2026, Omid was a Managing Director at Bank of America, where he led the firm’s global pharmaceutical services practice. Earlier in his career, he was a Managing Director and Head of Healthcare at Wells Fargo and held senior roles at its predecessor institutions, Wachovia and First Union.
Omid holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (School of Global Public Health).
