Alexander Friedman
Managing Director
Alexander Friedman is a Managing Director in the Media, Entertainment & Sports Group at Lazard. Alex specializes in advising corporate and financial sponsor clients across the media and entertainment landscape. Over the course of his career, he has advised on a wide range of complex transactions across the sector. His experience includes public and private M&A, leveraged buyouts, fairness opinions, financings, and other strategic advisory mandates.
Prior to joining Lazard, Alex was a Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners, where he began his career as an early member of the firm’s TMT Investment Banking Group focused on media and entertainment.
Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University
