Lazard Brings On Brian McCabe as Head of North America Energy in Power, Energy and Infrastructure Group

NEW YORK, August 6, 2026 – Lazard, Inc. (NYSE: LAZ) announced today that Brian McCabe has re-joined the firm as a Managing Director and Head of North America Energy in the Power, Energy & Infrastructure Group, based in Houston. 

Brian advises corporate and sponsor clients on strategic transactions across the energy sectors, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and take-privates. His transaction experience spans three decades. 

Before re-joining Lazard, Brian served as Managing Director and Head of Midstream and Downstream at J.P. Morgan. He previously held the roles of Global Head of Energy at Credit Suisse and Head of Americas Oil & Gas at Morgan Stanley, and began his career with stints at Wasserstein Perella, DLJ, and Lazard.
