Jim Conniff is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Industrials group at Lazard Middle Market. He has 25 years of experience advising publicly traded and privately owned industrial clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate divestitures, fairness opinions, anti-raid/defense, equity and debt offerings, and strategic advisory assignments. In addition to his significant experience across a wide range of industrial clients, Mr. Conniff has particular expertise in engineered products and systems.

Prior to joining Lazard Middle Market, Mr. Conniff was a Managing Director in the Industrials group at Robert W. Baird & Co. Prior to that, he covered Midwest industrial clients while at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Previous responsibilities at Goldman, Sachs & Co. included serving as a member of the Merger Leadership Group and leading the firm’s flow control and filtration sector coverage.
Mr. Conniff graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
