Asset Management Internship Program
Lazard Asset Management offers ten-week Summer Internships that provide undergraduate students enriching opportunities to support the day-to-day responsibilities of our Investment Management, Sales & Marketing and Operations business areas.
Our internship launches with an orientation and in-depth training, department overviews and senior management spotlight sessions. In addition to formal training, our program offers a plethora of social and philanthropic opportunities which support our collaborative culture.
The highlight of our summer internship is the presentation of a capstone project to senior management. Capstone projects may encompass but are not limited to: a formal stock pitch, macro research report, or sales pitches on a particular LAM strategy.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates are typically in their junior year of undergraduate study, have a strong record of academic achievement and campus, community or athletic leadership, and have a clearly demonstrated interest in financial markets. A minimum 3.5 GPA is required for consideration.

Asset Management Internship Programme – Equity Research and Sales & Marketing streams
Recruitment for our 2019 programme will open on 17th September 2018 and close on 5th November 2018.
We are offering a unique opportunity to spend the summer as part of our Equity Research or Sales & Marketing teams.
Candidates should have a thirst for learning and challenge consensual thinking. They should have a logical and analytical thought process and have an inquisitive mind. They need to possess strong interpersonal skills, including the ability and desire to work in a collaborative environment.
We are extremely proud of our track record in transitioning interns to successful long term members of our team and hope to offer this year’s candidates the opportunity to join us after their studies.
The program takes place each year between June and August, and is based at our London offices in the heart of Mayfair.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates must be in their penultimate year of undergraduate or postgraduate study, highly motivated, with a demonstrated interest in finance and the markets.
What to Expect
You will be expected to contribute from the very first day you arrive. After induction, you will be individually mentored by one of our experienced analysts or marketers for the duration of the programme.
The internship will provide you with a very broad and in depth understanding of the skills required to be successful at our firm: from fundamental research, financial modelling, portfolio construction and valuation within the Equity Research stream, to client servicing, sales support and relationship management within the Sales & Marketing stream.
You will be given opportunities to attend business and social events to help understand our company and the asset management industry, alongside building your personal network.

Our firm is made up of motivated, intellectually curious people. We look for students with a strong academic record, an interest in Finance and the markets, and a thirst for knowledge across many subjects.
Well-rounded candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds, who can demonstrate interests and endeavours outside of their studies, are especially welcome.
The programme is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students in their penultimate year of study. Please note that candidates must have AAB in their top three A-levels (excluding general studies) and a minimum predicted or obtained 2.1 university degree classification (or equivalent if studying outside the UK).
The window for applications is from 17th September 2018 to 5th November 2018, with assessment centres held in London later in November.
