HOW DO I APPLY?
Please click on “View our Opportunities” to see what positions are currently available. All candidates should apply through this portal. If you are interested in a Student Opportunity and are currently attending a university with a Lazard presence, please submit your resume through your school as well.
WHEN SHOULD I APPLY?
Application deadlines for student opportunities vary by program and region. Please refer to our Student Opportunities section and check with your school’s career services center, where appropriate, for specific deadlines.
Opportunities for experienced individuals are available on an ongoing basis and can be accessed through our Experienced Opportunities section.
WHAT INFORMATION SHOULD I HAVE READY BEFORE APPLYING?
Before you begin completing the on-line application, you should have the following information available: Personal Information, Education History, Work Experience, Certifications and a soft copy of your CV/Resume that you can attach to your submission.
WHAT FORMAT SHOULD MY CV/RESUME AND ANY RELEVANT ATTCHMENTS BE IN?
We request that all attachments be in PDF form, and be under 512 KB. Other file formats may be accepted, but the search tool that our recruiters use to search for candidates will not be able to analyze the content of some attached files, such as image files or compressed files (.zip).
DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE MY APPLICATION IN ONE SESSION?
No. Prior to submitting you can save information by clicking “Save As Draft” and come back to the application at any time.
Important: Once you have submitted your application you do not have the ability to edit your preferences. You can only go back to edit your personal contact information.
I FORGOT MY USER NAME AND/OR PASSWORD, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Once you have selected a position of interest and click “APPLY”, you will be redirected to a Login page which will direct you to links you can use if you forgot your user name and/or password. Follow the instructions to reestablish your credentials.
DO I HAVE THE ABILITY TO BE NOTIFIED OF RELEVANT JOB OPENINGS AS THEY BECOME AVAILABLE?
Yes. When creating your profile, if you select the checkbox in the “Job Posting Notification” section, you will receive an email notification when a new position matching your profile is posted.
CAN I APPLY TO MULTIPLE LOCATIONS/POSITIONS?
Yes. You may apply to multiple locations and business areas, although we recommend applying to no more than 3 positions at any given time.
WHAT IF I AM UNABLE TO FIND OPPORTUNITIES FOR A SPECIFIC LOCATION, BUT I KNOW LAZARD HAS AN OFFICE IN THAT LOCATION?
If no opportunities are listed in the “Search Results”, it means there are no current positions available in that location.
DOES LAZARD HIRE FOREIGN NATIONALS AND SPONSOR WORK VISAS?
Yes. We cannot advise you on your work eligibility status, but we do not reject any candidate because of his or her need to obtain appropriate work authorization. You are free to apply to any business area or region of interest and we will consider your application(s) for the corresponding areas of the firm.
It should be noted that any offer of employment issued will be subject to immigration approval being obtained prior to your start date.
CAN I CHECK MY STATUS ONLINE?
Yes. You can check your application status by logging back into the on-line application system. You will have the ability to see if a position remains open or if it has been filled.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO HEAR BACK REGARDING THE STATUS OF MY SUBMISSION?
Our recruiters will do their best to get back to you within a few weeks of your application, depending on the recruitment time-line for a particular position and the volume of resumes received.
