Jeff Baker is a Managing Director and member of the Business Services & Education group at Lazard. He has more than 15 years of investment banking experience. Prior to joining Lazard, Mr. Baker was a Managing Partner at Drake Star and ran their IT Services practice there. Prior to Drake Star, he was Vice President at Avendus Capital in New York, where he was responsible for advisory transactions in the technology segment. Previously, Mr. Baker worked with Berkery, Noyes & Capstone Partners where he executed mergers and acquisitions focused on technology and technology-enabled business services companies. He started his career with Rational Software which was later acquired by IBM.

Mr. Baker has a BA in Political Science from Tufts University and an MBA in Corporate Finance and Strategy from New York University.
