Lazard Asset Management LLC (LAM) is a subsidiary of Lazard Frères & Co. LLC, (LF&Co). Our Asset Management business provides investment management and advisory services to institutional clients, financial intermediaries, private clients and investment vehicles around the world. Our goal in our Asset Management business is to produce superior risk-adjusted investment returns and provide investment solutions customized for our clients.

Many of our equity investment strategies share an investment philosophy that centers on fundamental security selection with a focus on the trade-off between a company’s valuation and its financial productivity. Primary Job Responsibilities: Research Analyst Summer Internship

The Lazard Asset Management Research Analyst Summer Internship is a 10-12 week program. Day-to-day activities include financial analysis and modeling, working together with experienced research analysts to develop recommendations of investments for Portfolio Managers, and attending meetings with companies’ senior management. In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, you will be assigned an industry specific project to work on throughout the summer and ultimately present it to our Research Analysts and Portfolio Managers. At the end of the summer program, we aim to extend full-time employment opportunities to outstanding performers.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Ability and desire to work as part of a team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills (modeling & accounting)
• Demonstrated interest in Research and investing
• Independent and original thinker
• Global perspective
• Self-discipline and self-motivation
• Strong professional presence, including maturity and self-confidence
• Investment management experience is of particular interest (prior internship preferred)
