Lazard, one of the world's leading financial advisory firms, today announced that Mark Burrows will be appointed a Managing Director of Lazard and Chairman of Lazard's newly formed corporate advisory business in Australia.
Mr Burrows will join Lazard after an impressive investment-banking career in association with Barings and ING, including an 18-year partnership with Barings in Australia and the last four years in London with ING Barings.
Mr Burrows will relocate to relocate to Australia and join Paul Binsted and Brian Wilson whose appointments as Managing Directors of Lazard were announced in March.
Mr Burrows is Deputy Chairman of Brambles and a director of John Fairfax and Burns Philp.
